Shaping the Recovery Curve
The START Coalition is creating COVID-safe communities.

Overview
The fight against epidemics takes place beyond the hospital grounds.
It is fought by institutions and people, pulling together, pushing forward—practical and deliberate. The START Coalition is dedicated to test, treat, trace, and train; to study and establish a proven and scalable method of containment.

01
Mission
The START Coalition is made up of a series of pilot programs, based in diverse communities across the US, created to —
STOP the Virus.
PROTECT Communities.
START the Work.
OPEN Campuses.
02
Coalition Team
An exceptional set of healthcare clinicians, researchers, public-sector leaders, private-sector leaders, and entrepreneurs have combined the efforts required to reliably return people to work, to restore economic and social vitality, to reclaim normalcy.

03
Launch Plan
Start has formed a robust panel of experts—physicians, philanthropists, entrepreneurial powerhouses, organizations, and individuals spanning a wide range of education, research, and commercial operations. We have partnered with experts from Duke and Harvard Medical, Purdue Research Foundation, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences and The University of Alabama to deploy, evaluate and share a suite of pragmatic interventions, creating safe communities, underpinned by data-directed implementation.
